During his studies at the ESSEC (Business school), Julien Daillère got into associative life (student radio, theater, graphic arts). He set up with Edwige de Benoist (nurse and art-therapist) and Bérangère Béguin (student), the project "l'Art vers la Liberté" ("Art toward freedom") : Edition of a book collecting paintings by prisonners of Maison d'Arrêt d'Osny and traveling exhibition of those paintings.
Since the end of his studies in 2004, simultaneously with his activities as painter and actor, he directed with help from Nathanaël Le Scouarnec a short movie like a spot against collective violence : "Mal aux pieds" ("Feet hurt"). Then, he directed other videos. Among them is "Video-Surviolence", about video-surveillance.

Young director, co-author and author of several screeplays, Nathanaël Le Scouarnec is also at the head of an association for short movies since January 2003 (Ciné-Colline) and member of the board (n°3) of S.D.S.S. Compagnie (short movies and other cultural projects). He his the author and director of several short movies, displayed in festivals and on TV. Among them is "Jamais 20 ans" ("Never 20 years"), which is like a spot for security on roads. He also took part at about 15 short movies as chief operator, cut or assistant director.
